We have “Kai yaki miso soup,” scallops in miso soup, for our specialty food of Tsugaru area located in western region of Aomori prefecture.

Using a shell of scallop as a plate, grilled a scallop mixed with soybean pastes, chopped leeks, Tofu, and beaten eggs.
It is a local cuisine around Mutsu bay, and one of the most popular breakfast in our ryokan.
People after giving birth or convalescence are recommended to visit this area for their recovery, especially when they don’t have much of an appetite. We serve freshly made dishes. Tempting smell and fresh flavor of our food will stimulate your appetite. Taste the broth of Kai yaki, and put Kai yaki on top of rice.
